The Corner Cafè

We were in Tewkesbury for a few hours one morning and decided to wander about in the town. There are lots of cafes and eateries but this one stood out to us as it was in a beautiful building and the menu had some classic British choices at reasonable prices. The cafe itself is set within a stunning historic building with a great layout that makes the most of the characterful features. The ladies running the place were exceptionally friendly and attentive. We had a nice window seat on the first floor, which was not too busy so we could enjoy some quiet. The menu has a great selection, but I was drawn to the Bubble and Squeak, which you rarely see available these days. I'm glad I chose it because it was so tasty. I could have eaten it all over again when I'd finished! My partner went for the staple English breakfast, which was a very generous portion and good quality ingredients. The coffees were also very tasty, and once we'd finished we paid the bill. The meal was excellent value for money and if we were in Tewkesbury again we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Jelly Roll Cafe is the best find in Tewkesbury! Honestly the food is homemade vibes, we’ve been several times and every time it’s been perfect.

We fully recommend this little gem of a Cafe in Tewkesbury. Food is excellent, there omelettes are the best around for miles! the cakes are really good and home made too, all the ladies who work there are soo friendly and kind. What a find was down visiting for my birthday and went for brunch, I have never had such an amazing huge thick omelette EVER tasted superb, if I lived here would be a regular for sure. Prices are so good and the lady shared her “ secret recipe” so I can try to make it! Lovely service and great place to go and dog friendly. Photo is when I had nearly finished it for reference.

Went here today, 8/2/24 for breakfast. It was very wet and cold outside but we had a warm welcome from Debbie the owner as we entered. We ordered 2 full English breakfasts, one with poached and one with scrambled eggs. They were both cooked to order and were presented to us steaming hot with 2 cups of gorgeous coffee. An absolutely top quality, tasty breakfast, the best I've had in a long time. Will definitely return in the near future

Popped into this little gem for a late breakfast and so very glad that we did. The smoked salmon and scrambled egg muffins were amazing. Lovely food and such wonderful ladies who were only too pleased to make it a lovely dining experience. Will definitely return next time we visit Tewkesbury.
